The Heart of the Forest (Original)

This piece is called “The Heart of the Forest”. This represents one of my happy places, a place I go in my imagination to ground myself and find some calm. Nature is a big part of healing for me. This piece took many hours of getting the background to the point I wanted, the yellow light and the water being the key features. Then it was so much fun painting all the little details.
